LONDON, ENGLAND / ACCESSWIRE / November 10, 2016 / Louis Berger appointed James Rousell as vice president and managing director for the U.K., effective November 4.
As the leader of the U.K. operations, Rousell is responsible for growing the business, as well as preparing, implementing, and delivering operating plans for the U.K. to ensure efficient operations, project delivery and financial performance.

"His expertise preparing, implementing and delivering business development and strategic sales strategies, maintaining and ensuring client networks, and supporting strategic and major pursuits is well suited to support Louis Berger's business development goals for Europe."
Prior to joining Louis Berger, Rousell enjoyed a 15 year career with Jacobs in a range of senior business development positions successfully growing the Infrastructure business in the Middle East, Australia, North Africa and existing U.K. market. Previously, he worked in Environmental Management for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and private waste management companies.
Rousell is a Chartered Waste Manager (MCIWM) and a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and holds a Bachelor (Hons) in Environmental Protection from Surrey University and a Postgrad Certification in Environmental Management from Sunderland University.
Rousell will be based in Louis Berger's London office. He will report to Jesper Damgaard, Louis Berger senior vice president and managing director for Europe.
