Companies Will Work Together To Produce and Distribute United Cannabis' Prana™ and Bubbleman Product Lines To Patients Throughout California
DENVER, CO / ACCESSWIRE / March 28, 2016 / United Cannabis Corporation (OTCQB: CNAB) (the "Company" or "United Cannabis") today announced that its subsidiary UCANN California Corporation ("UCANN CA") has entered into a partnership with the Harborside Health Center (“Harborside”), for the production and distribution of the United Cannabis-branded Prana Bio Nutrient Medicinals and its Bubbleman affiliated products in the State of California.
The companies have been working together since United Cannabis established its A.C.T. Now Program in Harborside's Oakland facility this August. The Advanced Cannabinoid Therapy or "A.C.T." Now Program was designed to help patients achieve the correct combination of Prana Bio Nutrient Medicinal products as well as provide education and other support for patients managing cancer, autism, seizures, dependency, PTSD, arthritis and other special needs.
The positive patient response to the Program and Prana products were a factor in the move to expand the relationship. The newly signed agreement provides for the extension of the current infrastructure to enable the companies to serve patients statewide.
Under the agreement, Harborside will have an exclusive license to United Cannabis' intellectual property and utility patent for the manufacture of the entire Prana Bio Nutrient Medicinal line as well as its affiliated Bubbleman products, including Full Melt Bubble Hash, Dry Sift and Flower Rosin. The agreement also provides for Harborside to serve as the exclusive distributor of these products throughout the state of California.
