The App Leverages Growing Mobile Technology to Streamline the Interaction between Bands and Their Fans

Available for download for iOs and Android, FANster allows fans to search for their favorite artist by name or QR code.
Once a fan is following a band, they are a member of their notification list, and will receive special promotions and real time updates. They will also be offered the opportunity to get exclusive music, tickets, and merchandise.
From the bands perspective, fans are the lifeblood of a successful brand, so the app was designed with growth as one of its main objectives. Having direct access to a fan base, the app will reportedly increase brand recognition, ticket buys, and the movement of merchandise, says the website.
Developed by Zapporoo, the app is free for users, but bands are required to pay a $19.99 yearly fee to unlock the virtual store feature as well as photo posting and status updates. Artists can cancel their membership at any time.
The app was designed by Recording Artist Rod Michael.
