(TSX-V: CRX) ("Cerro" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its board of directors have appointed Ms. Sharon Lewis as the Company's new Chief Financial Officer and as a director effective October 1, 2013. Mr. Mike McCleave has resigned from his position as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. The Company expresses its appreciation to Mr. McCleave and thanks him for his invaluable contributions over his tenure. The board of directors of the Company currently consists of Mr. Jason Birmingham, Mr. Alex Polevoy, Mr. Sean Farrell and Ms. Sharon Lewis.

Ms. Lewis has over 25 years of experience working with public companies. Ms. Lewis also currently the chief financial officer of Esstra Industries Inc., Cascadero Copper Corporation and Stealth Minerals Limited. Prior to this, Ms. Lewis was a director of White Bear Resources and Cassius Ventures Ltd.
