eResearch Issues Perspective on SIR Royalty Income Fund

SIR Royalty Income Fund has an equity investment in SIR Royalty Limited Partnership and a debt investment in the private company, SIR Corp. The Partnership owns the Canadian trademarks for the operation of the following SIR restaurants: Jack Astor's, Canyon Creek, Alice Fazooli's, and the Signature restaurant group (reds, Far Niente, FOUR, Petit Four, and The Loose Moose).

SIR Royalty Income Fund reported third-quarter results ended September 30, 2012, with net earnings of $0.27 per unit compared with $0.26 a year earlier. A continuing strong performance by the Jack Astor restaurant chain, as well as improving same-store-sales growth at the Canyon Creek operations, led to the SIR Royalty Income Fund reporting further gains in SSSG, royalty income, and net income for Q3/2012.
