Capable of achieving DOCSIS 3.1 data speeds of well over 1 Gigabit per second, this cable modem also has 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 capability; so it can achieve the highest data speeds provided by DOCSIS 3.0 services. Advanced Model MB8600 features include four Gigabit Ethernet ports, support for bonded Ethernet ports, Broadcom full-band capture digital tuning, active queue management (AQM) to significantly reduce Internet latency, and industry-leading resistance to lightning and power surges.
