According to the complaint, during the Class Period, the Company made false and misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: the Company's former Chief Executive Officer and former Chairman of the Board of Directors had violated the Company's policies and procedures, and engaged in violations of law and regulation; that the Company lacked adequate internal controls over accounting and financial reporting; and as a result of the above, Unilife could not file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q by the filing deadline. Upon release of this information, the Company's stock price dropped.
