Universal Media Group Inc. is please to announce the signing of three key individuals to its Advisory Board, Jim Lefkowitz, Ray Leonard Jr. and Alex Kopacz.

Jim Lefkowitz

Mr. Lefkowitz is a leading entertainment industry veteran with a wide range of experience in law, business, finance and film. Mr. Lefkowitz began his career as an attorney at the law firm of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips in Los Angeles. He subsequently worked as a business affairs executive at The Walt Disney Studios where he negotiated writer, actor, producer and director deals, film financing arrangements and rights acquisitions for both Touchstone Pictures and Walt Disney Pictures. He was also a Producer on the story of acclaimed singer/songwriter Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys film "Heroes and Villains".

Mr. Lefkowitz was a managing director at Cantor Fitzgerald, a global financial services provider and investment bank. In the Cantor Entertainment division he worked in film finance and oversaw the Hollywood Stock Exchange. From there he joined Mandalay Media.

Prior to Cantor, Mr. Lefkowitz was an agent for eight years at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the premiere talent agency. He represented actors, writers, and directors for film, television, and new media ventures. He represented such talent as Doug Ellin (Creator and Executive Producer of "Entourage"); Zach Braff ("Scrubs" and "Garden State"); DavidFranzoni ("Amistad" and the Academy Award winning film "Gladiator"); Bonnie Hunt; Michael Keaton ("Batman" and "Birdman"); and Cuba Gooding Jr. (Academy Award for "Jerry Maguire") and more.

He is a graduate of The University of Michigan School of Business Administration and Law School. Mr. Lefkowitz will be a key addition to the growth of Universal Media Group Inc.

Ray Leonard Jr.

Mr. Leonard is the son of Hall of Fame boxer and world champion "Sugar" Ray Leonard. Ray Jr. is cofounder and CEO of Launch Team Consulting, Inc. He has over twenty years of domestic and international experience managing medium to large-scale projects providing diversity training, team building, business consulting. professional management and organizational consulting for sports and entertainment.

As CEO of Leonard Sports & Entertainment he specialized in pairing celebrities with corporations. Ray has provided vision and goal focused team strategies for Coca Cola, Polaroid, Everlast, EA sports to name a few.

Mr. Leonard is also an acting talent and has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild for over 30 years appearing in more than 100 commercials, television shows and films. He has a unique ability to direct complex projects from concept to operations along with being a talented motivational speaker & ambassador. Ray Leonard Jr will bring years of experience and knowledge to the success of Universal Media Group Inc. for years to come.

Alex Kopacz

Mr. Kopacz has 20+ years of dynamic media experience. Key areas of focus include broadcast television C-Level management and operations, multi-platform programming/content licensing and distribution, new media start-up, digital technology solutions development and sales.

Mr. Kopacz built the Newsmax TV network from beta version to its current availability in over 42 million cable, satellite and broadcast households in just 12 months. Holds oversight of the affiliate distribution, marketing and digital strategies and initiatives. Developed linear channel partnerships with DISH, DirecTV, Verizon FiOS, NCTC, etc., along with audience building OTT relationships with YipTV, FilmOn, Pluto and connected device deals with Amazon, Google, Apple, Roku and Smart TV OEM alliances with Sharp, Samsung, LG, Toshiba and Panasonic.

Mr. Kopacz was Head of Programming & Operations at both WBRE-TV and WINK-TV, he acted in a senior leadership capacity to build and successfully maintain the on-air philosophy and strategy for these market and ratings leading broadcast television affiliates. He held oversight of all programming operations, budgets and day-to-day procedures and policies.

Mr. Kopacz was the Vice President at Entertainment Studios where he helped build this studio into the world's largest producer and distributor of first-run original content. He helped define the company's multi-platform distribution strategy including the deployment of eight HD cable networks through partnerships with Verizon FiOS. In four years time, he built the product portfolio from eight to 19 first-run original television series. The Universal Media Group Inc. family is excited to have Alex on board.
