The Sixth Annual BritWeek UKTI Business Innovation Awards Are Open for Nominations

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / January 15, 2015 / BritWeek and UK Trade & Investment are pleased to announce that the sixth annual BritWeek UKTI Business Innovation Awards competition, presented by Virgin Atlantic, is open for nominations. Winners will be recognized in four innovative categories: Technology, Design, Business Service, and Social Impact, and will be presented with awards during a dinner hosted at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on April 23, 2015. The nomination form is available here.

"These awards are hotly contested because they highlight the best of the extraordinary creative bond between the UK and California," said BritWeek Chairman Bob Peirce. "There is always an exciting and dynamic dialogue of ideas going on between these two most inventive parts of the world."

For the 2015 BritWeek UKTI Business Innovation Awards we enthusiastically welcome back our judges: creativity guru Sir Ken Robinson, Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum, Walt Disney International Chairman Andy Bird, and Los Angeles television anchor and producer Carlos Amezcua.

2014 winners included Industrial Light and Magic, Cubic Transportation Systems, Alexander Purcell Rodrigues, Innovate Product Design, and Headspace. Other past winners have included Arup North America Ltd., Calhoun Vision Inc., and Pusher LLC.
