Bonaire, Dutch Antilles / ACCESSWIRE / November 13, 2014 / Guests at Harbour Village Beach Club, the Caribbean's premier luxury dive and beach resort, can now enjoy more luxurious accommodations and amenities than ever, along with an expanded onsite dive shop.
Harbour Village is an idyllic tropical retreat located on a four-acre private peninsula on the unspoiled Caribbean island of Bonaire. Improvements completed this year include a remodeling and expansion of Great Adventures Bonaire, Harbour Village's First Class 5 Star PADI Instructor Development Center and dive shop located along the resort's private white sand beach. The shop was completely remodeled and expanded to include underwater photography equipment and accessories, new dive and snorkeling equipment including dive computers, a larger selection of paddleboards and a wide range of clothing for watersports and diving. It also features a refurbished dock and changing area.
In addition, a new Sunset Deck was added next to the resort's acclaimed La Balandra Restaurant, designed after an antique Spanish ship and giving the feeling of sailing with its dining deck located on a jetty extending out to sea. The new Sunset Deck offers a stunning view of the entire beach, surrounding sea and Klein Bonaire. The comfortable seating area is perfect for enjoying cool, tropical drinks while watching the sun slip beneath the horizon or for catching up with friends and family.
Harbour Village now features new lounge furniture and parasols on its private, white-sand beach. The pool and beach restrooms were also remodeled and made handicap accessible, while the resort's fitness room was outfitted with a new treadmill, cross trainer, stationary bike, television and mirrors.
Improvements and upgrades were made to the resort's Beachfront Suites, including the installation of new granite tabletops, sofa beds with Tempur Pedic 8" mattresses, Bosch Stainless steel built-in microwaves, Nespresso machines (arrival by end of 2014), Hansgrohe shower head systems and clad aluminum sliding doors.
