Vancouver, B.C. / ACCESSWIRE / October 31, 2014 / SecureCom Mobile ("SecureCom", "the Company") has introduced SecureCom Voice(TM), an encrypted voice calling application for mobile devices, now available for the Blackberry platform. SecureCom Voice(TM), in conjunction with SecureCom Private Messaging(TM) provide encypted secure solutions for sharing mobile voice and data communications. SecureCom Voice(TM) is now a free app available for Blackberry models Z10, Z30, Z3, Q10 and Q5 in the BlackBerry World Marketplace for BlackBerry devices (search "Securecom"). SecureCom encryption apps operate over existing wifi and carrier networks without added fees or long distance charges.

SecureCom Voice(TM) for Blackberry enables people to communicate with privacy, with ease, using conventional Blackberry mobile devices just like a standard phone call. However, using encryption technology that is based on the industry vanguard, SecureCom's technology shields voice communications from surveillance. The encryption is "end-to-end" and only decrypted by source and target phones. The encrypted voice data stream cannot be circumvented by outside parties, mobile carriers or even by SecureCom Mobile or Blackberry (aka RIM) during or after the call. With a simple word comparison, users confirm the security of the call, without relying on any central authority. After that, the software can automatically warn users if confidentiality may be compromised.

SecureCom Voice(TM) is compatible with Blackberry mobile devices. Users can choose to register for use with their existing phone number or email addresses, allowing mobile users to call another device by entering an e-mail address instead of a phone number.

There are approximately 11.8 million users on the BlackBerry platform1, which has long been an enterprise level solution for businesses, especially those seeking secure internal text and data communications. The product's solid and loyal user base amongst businesses continues to use the technology, largely for its simplicity and security features. This additional encrypted voice and data apps from SecureCom Mobile will provide BlackBerry users with a new level of independently secure, private communications, and is additive and complimentary to their security program configurations.

SecureCom Mobile expects to release SecureCom Voice(TM) for all of the major mobile platforms in order to make the app available for use by the majority of the world's estimated 7 billion mobile device users. In all, SecureCom Mobile offers three distinctly different apps that, when used together, provide a total solution for secure and private personal data exchange over mobile devices and computers.

SecureCom Mobile(TM) enabled devices require no special programming by the user and come ready-to-run. Future operating systems to be introduced soon include iOS and Windows Mobile platforms to provide the widest base of operational installs on the world's leading mobile operating systems. In addition, computer, laptop, tablet, and other hardware install support is planned for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux OS platforms to allow encrypted communications on a broad base of equipment and operating systems.
