Plano, TX / ACCESSWIRE / October 20, 2014 /  Hope's Door, a comprehensive domestic violence agency in Collin County, is thrilled to announce Nancy C. and Richard R. Rogers have come on board as the Presenting Sponsor for An Evening of Hope Gala on Saturday, November 8, 2014. The Rogers are supporting the gala with a $25,000 commitment.

Hope's Door is thankful for the very generous support of this philanthropic couple. Matt Grynwald, board president, said, "We are proud and honored to receive the support provided by the Rogers' donation. Their gift will have a significant impact on our ability to continue offering intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence."

Joining the Rogers in their support is Mercedes-Benz of Plano, which is presenting a beautiful 2014 CLA Class Mercedes-Benz for the raffle. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold at $100 each, with proceeds benefiting the programs and services of Hope's Door. You can buy tickets through the website at www.hopesdoorinc.org and do not have to be present to win.

Tania and Glenn Beck will be serving as honorary chairs. Glenn said, "Sadly, domestic violence is something I witnessed first-hand as a child and it took a tragic toll on my family. Tania and I are dedicated to raising awareness about this serious issue that too often goes unaddressed.  We are so grateful for organizations like Hope's Door that offer vital services to those who are affected."

Jessica Bair and The Mary Kay Foundation(SM) will receive the Heroes of Hope Award for their efforts in helping with emergency shelter renovations. Stephanie Mattison is gala chair.

An Evening of Hope will be held at the Westin Stonebriar in the Stonebriar Ballroom at 1549 Legacy Drive in Frisco, TX. The Great Gatsby-themed evening begins with a cocktail reception and features an elegant seated dinner, a live and silent auction and entertainment by DFW cover band Limelight. Steve Stolar is the emcee. Tickets are $175 each, a table of ten is $1,750 and sponsorships beginning at $2,500 are available through the website at www.hopesdoorinc.org or call 972-422-2911.
