Healthcare Enterprise Continues Growth Spurt

Founded in the fall of 2013, Lumin Health has made great strides in a short time. It has added new affiliates and specialties and now has approximately 150 employees, which represents more than a 50 percent growth in less than a year. The newest members of the Lumin Healthmanagement team are Mark Kennedy, Dilip Tandan and Kathryn Goldstein.
Mark Kennedy is a former Marine with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. As the chief development officer of Lumin Health and CEO of its affiliate Star Medical Center, Kennedy is responsible for growing the Star model across the country. He has held a number of senior management roles for healthcare companies and hospitals in North Texas and helped establish two physician-owned acute care hospitals: Texas Regional Medical Center in Sunnyvale and Patients Medical Center in Pasadena.
Dilip Tandan has more than 20 years of experience in financial management, with an emphasis on general accounting. As controller, Tandan will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions. Prior to Lumin Health, Tandan was controller at the Low T Center.
Kathryn Goldstein has more than 20 years of healthcare marketing experience and is skilled in strategic marketing, public relations, event planning and crisis communications. As the marketing director of Lumin Health, Goldstein will be responsible for marketing and communication for the Lumin Health family of companies. Previously, Goldstein was the marketing and communications director at Provista, LLC and Novation, Inc. She also served as the director of public relations at the Gaylord Texan, director of marketing at Baylor Health and director of marketing for The Dallas Morning News.
