LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / August 27, 2014 / Interact-TV Incorporated (OTC Pink: ITVI) (PINKSHEETS: ITVI) is pleased to announce that Dead Sara, an emerging rock band signed to Interact’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Pocket Kid Records, made its network television debut in an episode of the CW Television Network program "The Vampire Diaries", co-produced by Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios and among the two highest-rated programs on The CW Television Network.

The band, appearing as itself, performed two songs for the show: the first was a cover version of Patti Smith’s “Ask the Angels” and the second was a performance of their own song "Lemon Scent".

"The Vampire Diaries has long been a show supportive of both emerging and established artists, exhibiting a wide range of musical genres, and so we were thrilled to see Dead Sara be asked to perform in one of their episodes," commented Robert Bryan, President of both Pocket Kid Records and Interact-TV. "It was a particular honor as Dead Sara was only the third band to be asked to perform as themselves in an episode."

Addressing the episode’s first-run air-date of March 21, 2013 Robert Bryan remarked that “although we’ve disclosed this TV appearance in our 2013 second quarter disclosure statement, published through the OTC Disclosure and News Service, it was important to us to begin a new phase of more open communication with the investing public, which will include, among other things, highlights of the recent achievements made, such as this one, which demonstrate our commitment to increasing the popularity and reach of our artists, as well as the greater value to our shareholders we intend these achievements to produce.”

Interact-Tv's Management considers the network debut to follow on the heels of a break-out year for Dead Sara, which has now toured with The Used, Bush, Chevelle, The Offspring, and most recently as the opening act for multi-platinum recording artist Muse.

Also in 2013, Fuse TV aired a Special on Dead Sara called "2 Days In The Life of LA Rockers Dead Sara" which aired on Fuse News in March of 2013. And in the later part of 2013 Dead Sara also was commissioned to do a cover of Nirvana's "Heart Shaped Box" for the video game "Infamous: Second Son". This version was also featured in the trailer and as the credit song for the video game.

Dead Sara has been working on their second album since the end of 2013 with few appearances, but Pocket Kid Records’ president Robert Bryan stated "I anticipate I will be making some announcements about Dead Sara's new releases and touring plans shortly".

Dead Sara will be making an appearance at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento CA on September 13, 2014.
