Montreal, QC / ACCESSWIRE / August 26, 2014 / Etelesolv, Canada’s leader in IT and Telecom Expense Management, will take part in the upcoming Thought Leader Panel at Super Mobility Week organized by The Telecom Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA) - the official voice of the telecommunications expense management (TEM) industry. The Thought Leader session will take place September 9, 2014 at 3pm, and is entitled "BYOD, MDM, and Mobile Security". The event will be held at the Las Vegas Sands Expo and Convention Center. The TEMIA Thought Leadership Panel is part of the Super Mobility Week’s Stage 2 theme of topics: Enterprise Apps, MDM, Big Data, and Cloud.

The TEMIA-moderated session will address strategies and policies that enterprises must consider and put into place in order to combat the rising security threat posed by the burgeoning trend of employees who are employing unsecured devices that they own for work purposes. Topics covered will include best policies for BYOD, the value of MDM applications, and the limitations of mobile security. TEMIA’s panelists consist of a host of industry veterans including Nitin Khatri, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Etelesolv.

Mr. Khatri made the following statement: "There is no denying that BYOD is hugely popular among employees. IT managers are realizing that the true cost of BYOD outweighs the productivity gains from employee satisfaction. Companies end up paying higher per-user costs because the volume discount on devices is gone, and device management becomes a logistical and security nightmare that greatly taxes the bottom line."

Research study after research study has shown BYOD to be both a continuously-rising workplace trend and a rapidly-expanding security risk for organizations of all shapes and sizes. At the heart of this issue is the fact that businesses have limited resources or qualified personnel to properly address security issues inherent to the BYOD model. TEMIA’s Thought Leadership Panel will offer key insights on how to effectively combat the problem.

Etelesolv will be exhibiting at Super Mobility Week in the MobileCon Launchpad booth # 7421 across from the TEMIA – Telecommunications Management Pavilion.
