VANCOUVER, B.C. / ACCESSWIRE / August 20 2014 / Mission Ready Services Inc. (TSX-V: MRS) - Mission Ready Services Inc. ("Mission Ready" or "MRSI" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that, through its wholly owned subsidiary 10-20 Services Inc. ("10-20"), in a teaming arrangement with prime contractor Carl Amber Brian Isaiah And Associates ("CBAIA"), (CBAIA and 10-20 collectively "Team Barstow"), Team Barstow has been awarded under Contract/Purchase Order/Agreement No. M67004-13-D-0029 up to $8.3 million to provide warehousing and operations support services to clean and launder, stock and store up to 7,800 pallets of Individual Protective Personnel Equipment (IPPE) for the Marine Corps Logistics Systems Command ("MCLC"). The first purchase order for $1 million has been issued to 10-20 Services to begin cleaning operations while Team Barstow assesses the full scope of cleaning required with additional purchase orders under the contract expected.

The equipment consists of Individual Clothing & Equipment ("ICE") currently stored at Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow ("MCLB Barstow"), a United State Marine Corps supply and maintenance installation located east of Barstow, California.

Clay Williamson, President of 10-20 Services Inc., states, "We are thrilled that the US Marine Corps has joined the Special Operations Command in choosing 10-20 Services to restore their Individual Combat Equipment. The Marine Corps Logistics Command solicitation outlined stringent criteria for efficacy, efficiency, capacity and quality control. We are happy to have emerged as the winner, meeting or exceeding all of MCLC's requirements." With the expansion of 10-20's Joint Base Lewis-McChord facility in January and the extensive training of the personnel on-site, 10-20 is well prepared to handle the high volume of Marine Corps gear that must be processed.

In anticipation of significant growth for 10-20 from this contract and others that the Company is pursuing, 10-20 is securing additional equipment and staff to allow for continuous operations of up to 3-shifts per day, 7-days per week when required.

"This is an exciting milestone for the Company" says Rod Reum, President & CEO of Mission Ready. "This significant award coupled with our ongoing contract to clean and repair the US Special Operations Command SPEAR equipment at our JBLM and Fort Bragg facilities, helps to further broaden our business credentials within the various military communities and validates our technology. To date our advanced cleaning system has enabled us to place equipment back into service at approximately a 91% saving compared to replacement cost. We believe this award will be advantageous in gaining further recognition by the various military services and private organizations seeking to cut costs while maintaining the integrity of their equipment".
