The Tour will Take Place in Santiago De Cuba from February 11 to 18, 2015

Guelph, Canada / ACCESSWIRE / Aug 3, 2014 / Photo Cuba Workshop, a week-long photography travel tour, has just announced that its next photography tour Cuba workshop will take place in Santiago De Cuba from February 11 to 18, 2015.

As an article on the Photo Cuba Workshop website notes, the photography workshop Cuba plays host to photographers of all skill levels and experience. From beginners who are just learning to use a camera to more advanced photographers who are adept at shooting different subjects in a variety of light and other conditions, the workshop is sure to be an amazing and helpful experience. Each participant will have his or her photos reviewed and will receive helpful feedback and constructive criticism about their work.

The photography holiday tour Cuba will be taught by three outstanding instructors: Trina Koster, Scott Mooney and German Portuondo. Trina is looking forward to sharing her two-plus decades of photography experience with the participants in the Cuba photography travel tour; she especially enjoys sharing her love of image making with her students.

As a visual artist who specializes in photo retouching and illustration, Scott has an inherent sense for light and how to use the camera to capture the stories of others. German is a professor of art and sociology at the University of Santiago, and is also a surrealistic painter. Like Trina and Scott, he is pleased to share his knowledge with participants and is especially good at offering a Cuban perspective to the images the students capture with their cameras.

“By collaborating with local Cuban photo guides, we will help you to quickly connect to real people and the rhythm of daily life in Cuba,” an article on the Photo Cuba Workshop noted.

“Chivirico is not a touristy town; instead you will find babies, school kids, seniors, fisherman, bakers, commuters, dogs, chickens and pigs going about their lives in the most natural of ways. These kinds of photographic opportunities usually reserved for professional journalists will be an abundant part of our program.”

Anybody who would like to learn more about the upcoming photography tour is welcome to visit the Photo Cuba Workshop website; there, they can read more about the week-long workshop, the instructors and, if they desire, sign up for the travel tour.
