IRVINE, CA / ACCESSWIRE / July 30, 2014 / Global Vision Holdings Inc. (OTCQB: GVHIB) is a diversified financial holding company focusing on investments in environmentally responsible, profitable and growing companies.

The Place Media, a subsidiary of Global Vision Holdings, has taken its magazine Places to a whole new level, as the magazine will go through a rebranding phase.  From the front to back, Places will be improving the layout, design, and format of the magazine. The magazine is including an introduction page and is highlighting each section of the magazine. Places magazine is moving into a new century, with an advanced smart phone application.  The new smart phone application will not only mirror the magazine, but it will send push notifications.  This push notification will publish new information, on your phone, on events and attractions without the need to open the application.  The push notification works similarly to a text message and will notify the user of local places or attractions that have discounts and coupons for the consumer to take advantage of.  Aside from the smart phone application, www.placesmagazine.net will become a destination website. As a destination website, Places magazine will become international website, phone application, and publication. Places magazine will be the number one place that users, from different states and countries, will want to use as a source to pre-plan their vacation to Southern California.  As a destination magazine consumers will be able to download an application, and view www.placesmagazine.net for a current events and magazine issue.

Place magazines currently reaches over 1.5 million visitors each month, distributed in-room and in lobbies of over 640 Southern California hotels, ranging from large Hilton and Radisson locations to smaller beach boutique hotels. The magazine includes insider tips on places to eat, things to do, as well as customized TV listings for the area and coupons for local attractions and theme parks. Advertisers range from large theme parks such as Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Legoland, and Sea World, to theaters such as the Pantages Theater, as well as local sporting teams as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and smaller scale entertainment venues like Medieval Times. The Place also includes an online presence, with a comprehensive website (www.placesmagazine.net) that includes local calendar events, TV Guide, and to go virtual magazine.

Glen Carnes, CEO of Global Vision Holdings, Inc. states: "Places magazine is heading into a whole new and exciting direction.  I am enthusiastic about the new launch of Places magazines and I hope that users will be happy with the final product and continued innovations."
