Los Angeles, CA / ACCESSWIRE / July 28, 2014 / Concierge Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: CNCG), a technology developer for consumer and enterprise markets, today confirms that Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer Allen E. Kahn, died July 26, 2014 of complications from an infection. Mr. Kahn had been hospitalized with a systemic infection for several months and had been unable to recover. Mr. Kahn had founded Concierge, Inc., a private corporation involved in software development, in 1996. Concierge, Inc. later completed a going-public transaction during 2002 and the name was changed to Concierge Technologies, Inc.
The board of directors has elected CEO David Neibert to serve as interim Chairman of the Board and director Matt Gonzalez was appointed interim Chief Financial Officer. David Neibert states, "Allen was a dear friend for over 40 years and a business associate for the past 13 years. In addition to his business activities he worked closely with many charities and gave back much more than he received. His presence will truly be missed. Moreover, Concierge Technologies is finally poised to capitalize on growth initiatives a long time in the making and I regret that he will not be present to enjoy the success that he started on nearly 18 years ago. His vacant seat on the board will be filled in due course as the remaining directors consider nominations."
