Los Angeles, CA , United States / ACCESSWIRE / July 23, 2014 / Interact-TV Incorporated (OTC PINK: ITVI) announces today that it has begun discussions to acquire musician and artist representation firm Executive Music Group, LLC (EMG).

With an extensive track record and a roster of clients that includes recording artists Alien Ant Farm and American Idol contestant Chris Medina (“What Are Words?”), EMG promotes the albums, songs, music videos, books, live performances and other creative output of its artist clients. Its services for many clients also include career management as it relates to all branches of the entertainment industry.

“We are looking forward to working with EMG and its president Jacob Capp in consummating this acquisition deal,” said Robert Bryan, president of Interact-TV. Noting that EMG, like Interact’s own subsidiary Pocket Kid Records, is already a revenue-generating business, Mr. Bryan continued: “EMG and our own subsidiary Pocket Kid both work in the entertainment and artist representation markets, but service complementary rather than overlapping markets. Having both these companies under the ITVI umbrella would provide enormous creative opportunities, adding a dimension to the market that Pocket Kid is not focused on, while the synergies between the two companies make this an extremely attractive partnership in terms of increased efficiencies.”

Speaking on behalf of EMG, president Jacob Capp remarked: “We are excited about the new horizons that this potential partnership represents for EMG. Our company’s mission has always been to strive to generate the greatest creative and marketing opportunities for the artists that we represent.  By being part of the Interact group of companies, while still maintaining our managerial independence, we put ourselves in the best possible position to increase the depth and quality of those opportunities for our clients.”

Initial terms of the deal are for the acquisition of EMG by Interact in an all-preferred stock transaction.
