(AERS) ("Aerius") or the ("Company") Harold Rounds, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Aerius International Inc. was an invited attendee to Sprint's Annual Mobility and Action Summit held at Sprint's corporate headquarters in Overland Park Kansas, held from July 8-July 11.
The purpose of this Summit is to introduce prospective Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) to Sprint and the support services that Sprint provides to its operators.
At the Summit, Mr. Rounds and Senior Management of Sprint's Emerging and Wholesale Solutions Division, had substantive discussions regarding Aerius becoming an MVNO and identifying potential launch dates for the Aerius smartphone to be available on the Sprint Network.
As an MVNO on the Sprint Network, Aerius International will join a nationally recognized group of wireless providers that includes: Straight Talk, I-Wire and Virgin Mobile. And like each of these providers Aerius International will offer its subscribers prepaid voice, text and data rate plans that meet its customer's needs.
To be successful and stand out from other carriers an MVNO must have a niche market as its base and Aerius International has identified such a market. The target market is comprised of forty six million consumers with a buying power of $1.75 trillion annually.
Also at the Summit, Mr. Rounds had meetings with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's), Distributers, Application Developers and Content Providers in preparation for the simultaneous launch of the Smart Phone and the Network.
