Mercator Transport Announces the Sale of its Subsidiaries' Assets

MONTREAL, QUEBEC / ACCESSWIRE / July 3, 2014 - Mercator Transport Group Corporation ("Mercator Transport" or the "Corporation") (TSX-V: GMT), announces that the Superior Court of Quebec (Commercial Division) in the matter of the receivership of Mercator Transport International Inc. ("MTI"), has ordered the sale of assets of MTI and 6936954 Canada Inc. (previously "Mercator Transport France Inc."), subsidiaries of the Corporation, to 8894132 Canada Inc., effective as of July 2, 2014.

The Court also orders MNP Inc., acting as Receiver as appointed by the court on February 19, 2014 upon the petition by Faunus Group International, Inc., to take any such steps and execute any such documents as may be necessary or desirable for the completion of the sale of the subsidiaries assets.
