SpineCARE Founder and Director Dr. Douglas Won to Present at Prestigious Becker's Healthcare Conference on June 13
Irving, TX / myprgenie.com / ACCESSWIRE / Jun 05, 2014 / Dr. Douglas Won, founder and director of SpineCARE(TM) and chief medical officer of Star Medical Center, will be a featured speaker at the annual Becker's Healthcare spine conference in Chicago, June 12-14, 2014. Dr. Won will speak Friday, June 13, at 1:45 p.m. on "Starting an Independent Spine Practice." The 40-minute presentation will focus on the top factors physicians and entrepreneurs should consider when building a spine practice.
The "12th Annual Spine, Orthopedic & Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference + The Future of Spine," will be held at the Westin Michigan Avenue Hotel in Chicago, Illinois.

He did his internship and residency through Washington University SOM/Barnes-Jewish Hospital, received his Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and holds undergraduate degrees from Northwestern University and Harvard University.
In Irving, Texas, Dr. Won serves as a mentor and a board member of the Irving Schools Foundation. He's also a clinical assistant professor at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and holds leadership positions with a number of professional organizations. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, distinguished fellow of the American College of Surgeons, board member of the American Board of Surgery and co-founder of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Treasury.
