Orange County, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 14, 2014 / Monster Arts, Inc. (OTCQB:APPZ) a leading mobile marketing and app technology innovator is pleased today to announce its engagement with ProMedia Software, Inc. in connection with the design and development of FanPic(tm), a new "FanPic App" and a companion website and social media platform, "FanPic.com".  Under the terms of the parties' joint venture and revenue sharing arrangement, Monster Arts will provide app development, branding and concept, and ProMedia Software (ProMedia) will provide some of its EngageBuilder(tm) intellectual property, website development services, database development services, and server-farm setup and design consulting services.   ProMedia is the company that built the backend and mobile friendly website system for Travel America Visitor Guide, another Monster Arts property.

This collaboration comes on the heels of ProMedia Software winning the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce Startup of the Year award for 2014.   The companies expect to launch the new app and website sometime during the next quarter.

The FanPic(tm) app and related social media platform will function much like the much publicized and highly successful Instagram product, but with a particular focus on event and celebrity-oriented news and event information.  Fans and followers of tradeshows, events, athletes, entertainers, actors, musicians and other celebrities will be able to stay intimately in touch, or some might say, "in the know" regarding the quotes, views, interests and activities of some of  their favorite stars, all with the convenience of this handy Smartphone/Smart Device app, not to mention the benefits associated with being interconnected in real time with other diehards fans and enthusiasts.

FanPic(tm) is based on some of the licensed technologies that were showcased in the Motorola Booth at CTIA Convention in Orlando, FL a few years back, formerly called "PhotoWith(tm)",  where photo manipulation, editing, adding filters, and the like are presented in a unique and organized fashion with enhanced sharing capabilities.

Commented Wayne Irving, CEO of Monster Arts, "After more offers to buy the url fanpic.com than I can count, I knew we had something here and can tell you that we couldn't be more excited about our new partnership with ProMedia.  ProMedia knows the how to build robust products with a keen focus on backend development, load planning, profile management, inside out, and this is a perfect complement to what our company brings to the table in terms of app development and concept expertise, particularly with respect to mobile devices.  And we see the new FanPic platform as being the ultimate combination of Twitter and Instagram-type social media concepts, with a cool twist.  We think this will be huge!"

The FanPic app will be available on iPhone and Android devices, and is estimated to be released in September of this year.  The mobile friendly website will be located at: www.fanpic.com.
