Insight Vacations Launches 2014/15 Europe Autumn, Winter & Spring Collection
Featuring 34 trips including Spain, Portugal, Morocco and the Eastern Mediterranean
TORONTO / ACCESSWIRE / May 14, 2014 / Insight Vacations (www.insightvacations.com) the leader of premium and luxury escorted journeys, has announced the launch of its 2014/15 Europe Autumn, Winter & Spring (AWS) collection, including the Eastern Mediterranean and Christmas Markets. Guests can take advantage of an Early Payment Discount of up to 7.5 per cent on selected 2014/15 Europe Autumn, Winter & Spring tours when they book and pay in full by July 17, 2014.

The new Europe AWS collection includes 34 holidays featuring a host of Signature Experiences, Signature Dining and signature hotel properties while providing incredible value to guests travelling during these seasons. Signature Experiences include a paella-cooking demonstration in Valencia with a master chef and a visit to a strudel house in Budapest to learn the art of making this Hungarian delicacy. Insight's signature properties include the luxurious Hilton Molino Stucky Venice offering uninterrupted views of the lagoon, the unique Art Nouveau Palace Hotel in Prague embodying elegant Viennese facades and the superbly located Melia Castilla Madrid, located minutes from Paseo de la Castellana.
Treasures of Turkey
Insight guests begin their 16-day Treasures of Turkey adventure in Istanbul, renowned for its archeological wonders and historic centre partially designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While here, travellers have the opportunity to explore this glorious city and can visit the Blue Mosque, named for the coloured tiles adorning interior walls. On a Signature Experience aboard a cruise of the Bosphorus Strait, one of the world's busiest waterways, Insight guests will have picturesque views of the fishing villages and life on water. In Cappadocia, guests will enjoy the music and tradition of the people with a folklore show over a dinner of local Turkish fare. They will explore the underground cities of Goreme, where rock cut churches and fairytale chimneys can be found. On the Silk Road, passengers stop in Konya to see the Whirling Dervishes and visit a 13th century Caravanserai. While in Canakkale, guests will stay at an Insight signature property, the 5-star luxury Kolin Hotel with stunning views of The Dardanelles Strait.
Best of Morocco
The exotic North African region of Morocco is home to mountains, desert and coastline, and is truly a unique place. Made up of multiple cultures, from the Spanish refugees to the indigenous Berber people, Insight's 10-day Best of Morocco trip takes guests from the Casablanca with its big city sights, to the snowcapped High Atlas Mountains, to Ouarzazate - considered the film capital of Morocco - where Hollywood pictures such as Lawrence of Arabia and Star Wars have been filmed. Visit the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat, a masterpiece of traditional Moroccan art and one of the very few Islamic religious buildings open to non-Muslims. Guests can admire the ornate Oriental rugs then learn about the ancient craft of carpet making. Easy Pace Italy
Insight Vacations guests who want to indulge in 'la bella vita' will enjoy Easy Pace Italy, an 11-day journey from Rome to Venice, spending time in Florence along the way. Signature Experiences include VIP entrance to the Vatican Museums and the Renaissance Bramante Staircase, and seeing the Forum and the Colosseum and Rome. Guests will visit a Tuscan winery with stunning scenic backdrop and enjoy the delicious reds and whites of the region. They will also have the opportunity to take in the authentic Statue of David in Florence at the Accademia Museum with a local historian for added commentary. In Venice, guests can watch master craftsmen at their trade, including glass blowing and lace making. A Celebration Dinner in the heart of historic Venice with authentic, local flavours makes for the perfect Signature Dining experience to end the trip.
