Shares of HSH closed up 2.24% on about 13.4 million shares traded on Tuesday. The stock was one of the most active stocks on the NYSE. The company has agreed to buy branded foods company Pinnacle Foods Inc. in a cash and stock deal valued at approximately $6.6 billion, including debt.

Keurig Green Mountain closed up 7.55% on nearly 11 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers on the NASDAQ. The move came after it was revealed that Coca-Cola increased its stake in the company to 16 per cent, exercising an option the company had from a February agreement when it purchased an initial stake of 10 per cent.

ZaZa Energy shares closed up 42.31% on about 1.2 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers on the NASDAQ. The company reported results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2014. For the quarter ended March 31, 2014, ZAZA reported total revenues and other income of $3.0 million, an increase of 7.1% as compared to $2.8 million reported for the comparable 2013 period.

Shares of HCTI closed down 16.63% on nearly 600,000 shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest decliners in the OTCBB marketplace. Last week the company announced that it is entering the $35B insulation market. Hybrid is in the process of developing spray foam insulation based on its non isocyanate platform technology.
