Twitter Inc. Sinks to an All-time Low; Avago Technologies Completes Acquisition of LSI Corporation

Shares of Twitter closed down 17.81% on Tuesday making it one of the biggest decliners on the NYSE. The stock hit an all-time low of $31.72 during intra-day trading. Volume traded was nearly 135 million shares after the company lifted restrictions on share sales by insiders and early investors.

Shares of Avago Technologies Limited closed up 4.81% on about 12.8 million shares traded on Tuesday. The stock was one of the biggest gainers on the NASDAQ and hit a new yearly high of $68.08 during intra-day trading. The company announced it has completed its acquisition of LSI Corporation in an all-cash transaction valued at $6.6 billion.

One of the company’s main competitors, Hexagon Lincoln, teamed with one of its main customers, Agility Fuel Systems, for a joint venture. Agility made for the largest percentage of any customer listed in the report at 45% of Quantum's revenue last year.

Shares of InVivo Therapeutics closed down nearly 35% on Tuesday with about 5.3 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest decliners in the OTC market after the company announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 12,175,000 shares of common stock and warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 6,087,500 shares of common stock, at an offering price of $1.15 per share of common stock and $0.00001 per warrant.
