Shares of Tyson Foods closed down nearly 10% on Monday with nearly 11 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest decliners on the NYSE. The fall came after a disappointing earnings report. The company came up short on the bottom line, posting earnings of $0.60 when expectations were $0.63.

Shares of BEAV closed up 9.29% on about 8.4 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers on the NASDAQ and hit a new yearly high of $100.25 during intra-day trading. The stock surged the most since 2011 after saying it hired financial and legal advisers to study options including a sale.

Shares of Pingify International closed up 52.22% on about 22.3 million shares traded on Monday. The stock hit a new yearly high of $1.74 during intra-day trading despite no significant news released by the company. PGFY was one of the biggest gainers in the OTCBB market.

Shares of T closed up a modest 0.36% on Monday with nearly 16 million shares traded. AT&T was one of the most active stocks on the NYSE. It’s been reported that the company has had opened discussions with DirecTV regarding a possible acquisition. The deal would be valued at over $40 billion and would add over 20 million subscribers from DirecTV.
