DALLAS, TX  / ACCESSWIRE / March 24, 2014 / Phase II construction is well under way in the Villas at Willow Grove housing development located off Eldorado Parkway in McKinney, Texas. Dallas homebuilder Grenadier Homes has completed Phase II roads and services, and is slated to begin construction on 57 town homes later this month. They should be ready for move-in summer 2014.

"We've had a great response from customers on the Villas at Willow Grove. We built 100 homes in Phase I, all of which have been sold, and we've already sold more than 50 percent of the homes in Phase II. This level of pre-sales prior to the actual home construction is unusual in our industry, and it's a first for us. It's great for our customers and our company, and it's a positive indicator of growth for our community. We're very excited about it," says John Egnatis, co-founder and CEO of Grenadier Homes.

Egnatis attributes the high pre-sales to a variety of factors, including company influences such as high quality craftsmanship, great customer service, and an outstanding team of employees, as well as economic factors such as job growth and recent commercial and residential development in the area. In addition, Egnatis says many home owners are drawn to the community because it offers a low-maintenance, lock-and-leave lifestyle.

"Villas at Willow Grove's residents never worry about mowing the lawn, pulling weeds, fixing the fence or similar chores because the homeowner's association takes care of that. The community appeals to people who want to enjoy the beauty of a well-tended yard and neighborhood without having to invest a lot of time or money in maintenance," he explains.

In addition, all of Grenadier's homes -- including those in Willow Grove -- are Green Built(TM) Texas-certified and Energy Star(R)-rated, meaning they have been third-party tested and approved to ensure the highest levels of efficiency. This is another draw for many home owners, adds Anthony Natale, Grenadier Homes co-founder and president.

"Many of our customers are looking for energy-efficient homes that save our natural resources, while reducing their utility costs. Also, all of our homes have earned third-party certification, which gives home owners a higher resale value," says Natale.

Grenadier Homes builds each home with low-flush toilets; a highly efficient water heater and 16 SEER HVAC system; radiant-barrier roof decking; a drought-resistant landscaping system; thermal block, Low E, vinyl windows; and Grade 1 insulation, which is found in less than 2 percent of homes industry-wide.

The Villas at Willow Grove is a gated community featuring one-story, attached town homes that come in two- and three-bedroom configurations. Houses range in size from 1,259-to-1,693 square feet inside and up to an additional 155 square feet outside. The neighborhood has easy access to Cascade Lake, and it features a community pool with a waterfall and hot tub, clubhouse with shaded patio, barbecue grill, fitness center, hike and bike trails, and a small fruit orchard.

Homes start in the upper $100,000 range. The model home is located at 3075 Willow Grove Boulevard, #2201, in McKinney, Texas.

Grenadier Homes designs and builds semi-custom and custom single-family homes, patio homes and town homes throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It is recognized throughout the industry as a leader in customer satisfaction, workmanship, integrity, innovation and perseverance. Although the company was founded in 1990 by Anthony Natale and John Egnatis, Grenadier Homes can trace its roots back to the 1960s when Natale's father, Nick, built a custom-designed home for the Egnatis family. Natale and Egnatis became neighbors and close friends, frequently playing ice hockey together on Grenadier pond. The build had a major impact on them both, and later they created Grenadier Homes with that in mind -- to make a positive difference in people's lives through homebuilding.
