Innovative solution provides contractors with faster, more efficient way to track contents items
Lehi, Utah / ACCESSWIRE / March 18, 2014 / Xactware has just unveiled ContentsTrackTM, a solution for online and mobile platforms that helps contractors quickly record, categorize, and track personal property that needs to be stored, cleaned, or replaced after a property loss. In the event of a loss such as fire or flood, hundreds - even thousands - of damaged or destroyed contents items must be removed from the site and cataloged. ContentsTrack helps contractors save time by allowing them to document personal property and label items to be stored, cleaned, or replaced. Contractors can then track those items until they are returned to the customer, resulting in a complete and accurate chain of custody.
Data captured in ContentsTrack can be synced with XactContents(R), Xactware's contents estimating solution, and Xactimate(R), Xactware's structural estimating solution. This saves time and eliminates duplicate entry when estimating contents cleaning and replacement.

Contractors can also add photos, notes, or voice recordings to individual line items in ContentsTrack, which provides insurers and homeowners with more thorough loss documentation. ContentsTrack sorts personal property by room and status to help contractors and service providers keep projects organized. Filters also allow users to easily locate specific items.
