Toronto, ON / ACCESSWIRE / March 17, 2014 / At Contiki, we treat every day as a new adventure, making every moment count and looking back with absolutely no regrets. For Week 5 of our 8-week long #NOREGRETS Adventure Challenge (http://www.contiki.com/adventurechallenge), we're in Thailand! Famous for its sun-drenched islands that boast lush landscapes and clear waters, as well as booming cosmopolitan hotspots like Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and much-loved cuisine, Thailand is the perfect destination to delight travel enthusiasts and adventurers alike! This week's adventure challenge is presented by local Canadian YouTuber and winner of the 2013 Digital Personality of the Year, Andrew "Gunnarolla" Gunadie.

"At Contiki, we're all about cheering on young Canadians who live every moment to the fullest, seek out thrilling new experiences and embrace the awesomeness that life throws their way, just like Gunnarolla does," says Lauren Howard, National Brand and Marketing Manager. "Beyond being completely innovative when it comes to his music videos and crafting an online persona, Gunnarolla shares a great message with millennials about embracing those life-changing experiences you have while travelling, and that's exactly what Contiki trips are all about - looking back with no regrets."

Gunnarolla joined fellow Contiki adventurers for a trip Asia in 2013, along with fellow Canadian online influencers like Tim Deegan, SundayFundayz and Casie Stewart and created 5 YouTube videos and 55 Instagram photos from his trip. Gunnarolla says, "I was very impressed with my Contiki experience in Thailand. We enjoyed agreat diversity of activities (temple tours, cycling, snorkeling, safari, cooking class, etc.) but also enough ME time to explore the country at our own pace, like shopping in the local markets. Travel is always exciting, but this trip was life-changing. I would recommend Contiki to friends my age and I would definitely go on another trip." With 71,674 subscribers and 12,215,779 views on his YouTube page, we're part of the many fans who think Gunnarolla is awesome!

Travellers on a Contiki Thai trip will experience a world of adventure-meets-rest and relaxation. Each night in Thailand features hotel accommodations that will have you sleeping peacefully and in well-located areas. In Bangkok, enjoy a quick jaunt over to Khao San Road, famous for its magnificent outdoor market filled with food, fashion and entertainment. Ditch standard taxi abs in favour of tuk-tuks, which turn a quick trip around town into an adventure worth tweeting about! And on the islands, you'll have the option to enjoy special stays at our luxurious Shiralea Report in Koh Pha Ngan, an island famous for half moon parties, and Charm Churee Villa in Kohn Tao, nestled among the white beaches and turquoise waters that make the Gulf of Thailand a natural jewel.

So whether you love the hustle and bustle of big cities like Bangkok or the natural beauty of the Islands, join Canadian YouTuber and fan of "coconut everything" Andrew "Gunnarolla" Gunadie to answer this week's food-focused adventure challenge. If you're too excited to leave a trip to Thailand up to chance, check out all Thailand departures here and receive up to $319 off trips booked this week!
