Big North Graphite Announces the Appointment of Director and Chairman of the Board

Vancouver, B.C., / ACCESSWIRE / March 3, 2014 / BIG NORTH GRAPHITE CORP. (TSX-V: NRT) (OTC: BNCIF)(the "Company" or "Big North") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel R. Bleak as a Director and Chairman of its Board of Directors. Mr. Bleak has over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration and has developed and managed a broad range of exploration projects throughout North America and Mexico. He has been instrumental in the discovery of several producing mineral deposits and has developed decorative rock and industrial materials businesses in the Southwest United States and Mexico.

Mr. Bleak has served on the board of directors of several companies and as an officer of a number of mining, mineral exploration and development companies. Since 2000, Mr Bleak was President and Director of Black Mountain Mining Company (a private company), where he discovered and brought into production a feldspar operation located in western Arizona.

As a consultant to Big North, Mr. Bleak has been responsible for developing the amorphous graphite operations located in Sonora, Mexico.

The Company also announces that Mr. Dean Nawata has resigned as a director. The Board and Management would like to thank him for his service, and wish him the best in his future endeavors. Mr. Nawata will remain an Advisor to the Company.
