Abbotsford, BC February 27th, 2014 - Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (The "Company" or "Gatekeeper") (TSX.V: GSI) is pleased to announce that it has completed the first phase of its stop arm camera installation with Cook Illinois Corp. ("Cook"), in Chicago, USA.

Cook and Gatekeeper signed a Memorandum of Understanding in October 2013 that allows Gatekeeper to install its stop arm camera technology on Cook's buses. At Cook's request, Gatekeeper will discuss details of contracts with law enforcement and school districts that Cook has student transportation contracts with. Cook has 2,000 school buses in operation throughout the greater Chicago area.

Doug Dyment, President and CEO of Gatekeeper stated, "The new law which allows authorities to issue tickets by using video evidence from stop arm camera systems was effective January 2014. Cook has been a leader in providing first class student transportation services in the Chicago area, and we are honored to partner with them in an effort to create a safer environment in and around their school buses. With the first phase of license plate readers installed we can now move forward to open detailed partner discussions with school districts as well as open communications with Counties to ensure our technology is used to deter stop arm violations which will assist Cook and its customers to continue to provide a safe environment in and around their school buses."

Gatekeeper and its imaging technology, as seen on Cook Illinois School Buses, was featured on a segment of ABC 7 Eyewitness News, assisting in exposing and investigating stop arm violations, which originally aired on February 24, 2014.
