Mercator Transport Announces Appointment of Receiver for Certain Subsidiaries

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, February 20, 2014 - Mercator Transport Group Corporation ("Mercator Transport" or the "Corporation") (TSX-V: GMT), announces that the Superior Court of Quebec (Commercial Division) has ordered the appointment of MNP Inc. as receivers of the assets of certain of its subsidiaries, namely Mercator Transport International Inc., 6432328 Canada Inc. ("Mercator Global Services"), Mercator Canada Inc. and 6936954 Canada Inc. (previously "Mercator Transport France Inc."), effective as of February 19, 2014.

The Court also orders MNP Inc. to sell the assets of the above-mentioned subsidiaries. Following the sale, the Corporation will no longer have any commercial activities, which will be continued without interruption by the buyer. The directors and officers remain with the Corporation.
