Senomyx Inc. (NASDAQ: SNMX) shares closed up 24.95 percent on Wednesday with about 1.9 million shares traded almost. The stock was one of the biggest gainers on the NASDAQ and hit a new 52-week high of $10.10 during intra-day trading. The big gains and new high came despite the fact that the company had no significant news released.

Sigma Labs, Inc. (OTC: SGLB) shares closed down 6.11 percent on Wednesday with about 9.1 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest decliners in the OTC market and had one of the biggest volume advances. The company had no significant news released. Sigma Labs, Inc. engages in the development and commercialization of manufacturing and materials technologies, and R&D solutions.

China Advanced Construction Materials Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: CADC) - shares closed up 21.21 percent on Wednesday with about 43,000 shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers on the NASDAQ despite the modest volume. The company will host a conference call with a live webcast and a full Q&A session on February 13, 2014, at 8:00 a.m., Eastern Time, to discuss financial results for the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2014. China ACM is a producer of advanced, certified eco-friendly ready-mix concrete (RMC) and provider of related technical services for large scale, high-speed rail (HSR) and other complex infrastructure projects.

Emmis Communications Corp. (NASDAQ: EMMS) shares closed up 19.13 percent on Wednesday with about 820,000 shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers in the NASDAQ. Earlier this week the company announced that it has reached an agreement with YMF Media to purchase urban adult contemporary WBLS 107.5 FM, the No. 2 radio station in New York, and its sister station, WLIB 1190 AM, NY's first African-American targeted station offering an urban gospel format, for $131 million in cash.
