The drop was larger than the median forecast of 16,000, according to economists surveyed by Bloomberg.

Dunkin Brands Group Inc. (NASDAQ: DNKN) shares traded in the range of $47.62 to $50.41 Thursday before settling to close at $48.89, an increase of 3.36 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $48.96 and $49.46 levels with some support at $48.66 and $47.12. The company reported revenues were $183.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2013, an increase of 13.0 percent year-over-year. Shares of Dunkin Brands Group have gained approximately 1.5 percent year-to-date.

Kellogg Company (NYSE: K) shares traded in the range of $55.69 to $57.82 Thursday before settling to close at $57.74, an increase of 0.64 percent.
