February 6, 2014 - Cougar Minerals Corp. - TSX-V: COU ("Cougar" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has retained Senergy Communications Inc. ("Senergy"), of Vancouver, B.C., to provide investor relations services.
Senergy has been retained for an initial period of 6 months (the "Term"), which commences immediately, to assist the Company in raising brand awareness and company value through a variety of communications functions. In consideration for the investor relations services by Senergy, the Company has agreed to pay $5,000 per month plus GST and reimburse Senergy's reasonable out-of-pocket expenses. In addition, the Company has agreed to grant Senergy stock options to purchase 250,000 common shares of the Company at an exercise price of $0.30 per share expiring five years from the date of grant. Senergy is at arm's length to Cougar Minerals Corp., and is owned solely by Mr. Anthony Zelen. Mr. Zelen is the President of Senergy and he directly or indirectly does not currently own any common shares of the Company.
The options are being granted pursuant to the Company's incentive stock option plan which was approved by shareholders on March 29, 2012 and are subject to any necessary regulatory or stock exchange requirements.
