Wall Street Fundamentals Releases New In-Depth Stock Reports on LMT, LUV, MCD and MSFT

A combination of disappointing earnings and a contraction in China’s manufacturing sector sent U.S. market sliding Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down over 200 points before settling to close at 16,197.35, down 175.99 points or 1.07 percent for the day. The HSBC flash Purchasing Managers Index declined to 49.6 in January, down from 50.5 in December and the lowest reading since July. "This is the first time in many weeks that we've seen this kind of across-the-board volatility," said Adam Grimes, chief investment officer at Waverly Advisors. "There is a clear theme here, that the market doesn't like risk today."

Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT) shares traded in the range of $150.30 to $158.43 Thursday before settling to close at $150.49, a decrease of 3.93 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $151.10 and $153.49 levels with some support at $149.44. Shares of Lockheed Martin have gained approximately 60.0 percent in the past year.

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) shares traded in the range of $20.82 to $22.10 Thursday before settling to close at $21.24, a decrease of 2.43 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $21.40 and $22.01 levels with some support at $20.47. Shares of Southwest Airlines have gained approximately 88.0 percent in the past year.

McDonald's Corporation (NYSE: MCD) shares traded in the range of $94.50 to $95.95 Thursday before settling to close at $95.32, an increase of 0.46 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $95.56 and $96.08 levels with some support at $95.03. Shares of McDonald's have gained approximately 3.0 percent in the past year.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) shares traded in the range of $35.52 to $36.13 Thursday before settling to close at $36.06, an increase of 0.35 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $36.33 and $37.58 levels with some support at $35.12. Shares of Microsoft have gained approximately 32.0 percent in the past year.
