Vancouver, BC - CADAN RESOURCES CORPORATION ("Cadan") today announces a change in senior management with Mr. Peter Cunningham assuming the role of Interim President in addition to his current role as CEO and COO.
Mr. Cunningham holds a Bachelor degree of Applied Science in Mining Engineering from the Western Australian School of Mines. With over thirty years' experience in mine development and operations, his knowledge of the mining industry is extensive. Throughout his career, he has undertaken various Directorial and Managerial roles in successful and well-known ventures. Between 1998 and 2005, he was appointed Executive Director of Hill 50 Gold NL and Abelle Limited, Managing Director of Bluestone Tin Limited and Chairman of Exterra Resources Ltd. Currently, Mr Cunningham is Managing Director of Auvex Manganese Limited.
Mr Cunningham replaces Robert Butchart as President. Robert will remain on the board as a Non-Executive Director of the Company. In his role, Mr. Cunningham will have overall responsibility of the mining operations, milling, health and safety, and environment at the T'Boli gold-silver deposit located in south-central Mindanao, Philippines as well as overseeing all of its other projects.
