Wall Street Fundamentals Releases New In-Depth Stock Reports on GS, JCP, SPLS and ZNGA

U.S. markets pulled back Thursday, breaking a two-day rally, on disappointing earnings and sales figures from major companies such as Best Buy, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.39 percent, while the S&P 500 fell 0.13 percent from its record high. "It's not going to be a straight road up like what we saw in 2013," said Robert Pavlik, chief market strategist at Banyan Partners LLC, in a phone interview with Bloomberg. "A lot of what we saw in 2013 was predicated on money flowing into the market from the Fed. It's going to be an upwards revision to earnings consensus this year that will push the market higher."

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE: GS) shares traded in the range of $174.50 to $178.79 Thursday before settling to close at $175.17, a decrease of 2.0 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $175.58 and $176.95 levels with some support at $172.10. Shares of Goldman Sachs Group have gained approximately 27.0 percent in the past year.

J.C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE: JCP) shares traded in the range of $6.40 to $6.94 Thursday before settling to close at $6.90, a decrease of 1.57 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $7.04 and $8.40 levels with some support at $6.35. Shares of J.C. Penney have fallen approximately 60.0 percent in the past year.

Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLS) shares traded in the range of $13.61 to $14.30 Thursday before settling to close at $13.89, a decrease of 4.01 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $14.45 and $14.95 levels with some support at $13.78. Shares of Staples have fallen approximately 60.0 percent in the past year.

Zynga Inc. (NASDAQ: ZNGA) shares traded in the range of $3.53 to $3.99 Thursday before settling to close at $3.54, a decrease of 12.16 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $3.54 and $3.83 levels with some support at $3.48. Shares of Zynga have gained approximately 36.0 percent in the past year.
