Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) shares closed down a modest 2.10 percent on Thursday with about 20.7 million shares traded. The stock was one of the most active stocks on the NASDAQ. The stock had a big year in 2013 with buying Tumblr for $1.1 billion. The company also managed to draw more monthly U.S. visitors than Google for the first time since 2011, according to comScore.

GreenGro Technologies, Inc. (OTC: GRNH) shares closed up 67.95 percent on Thursday with over 11 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers in the OTC market. The legalized recreational pot use in Colorado this week has pushed marijuana stocks up, including GreenGro Technologies. GreenGro Technologies, Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets green eco-friendly vertical cultivation systems in the United States.

ReneSola Ltd. (NYSE: SOL) shares closed up 14.20 percent on Thursday with about 5.7 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest movers in the NYSE. On December 31st, the company announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Intent with Jiangsu Akcome Solar Science & Technology Co., Ltd. to sell three of its grid connected utility-scale projects. The projects, located at Qinghai and Xinjiang provinces at the western part of China, have a total power generation capacity of 60 megawatts.

BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ: BBRY) shares closed up a modest 2.82 percent on Thursday with nearly 26 million shares traded. The company announced that it will part ways with artist Alicia Keys at the end of January. The company hired Alicia Keys as its global creative director in the early part of 2013, announcing her position at the launch event for BlackBerry 10. In a statement the company said, "BlackBerry and Alicia Keys have completed our yearlong collaboration."
