Noah Holdings Limited (NYSE: NOAH) shares closed down 14.37 percent on Monday with about 3 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest decliners on the NYSE. The company, a leading wealth management service provider focusing on distributing wealth management products to the high net worth population in China, announced on December 24th that the Company has appointed Mr. Zhiwu Chen as an independent director to its board, effective from December 13, 2013.  Mr. Chen will also join the Company's corporate governance and nominating committee, replacing Mr. Ji Liu, who resigned from the board of directors of the Company, effective December 13, 2013. All other directors on the board of the Company will remain unchanged.

IntelliCell BioSciences, Inc. (OTC: SVFC) shares closed up 78.95 percent on Monday with nearly 130 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers in the OTC market and had one of the biggest volume jumps. No news was released to explain the sudden and unusual breakout. IntelliCell BioSciences, Inc. operates as a regenerative medicine company primarily in the United States.

Ariad Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ARIA) shares closed down a modest 1.36 percent on Monday with about 20.5 million shares traded. The stock was one of the most active stocks on the NASDAQ. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (:FDA) recently decided to allow the company to resume selling its leukemia drug Iclusig in the U.S. ARIAD will resume selling the therapy from mid-Jan 2014 under a modified prescribing and risk management plan approved by the FDA.

Centor Inc. (OTCBB: CNTO) shares closed up 30 percent on Monday with about 950,000 shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers in the OTCBB marketplace and hit a new 52-week high of $1.43 during intra-day trading. On December 18th the company announced that it has completed a Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire 55% working interest in an oil shale resource with over 1.1 Billion barrels of recoverable oil in the Pasquia Hill region of east central Saskatchewan, Canada. The oil shale leases cover qualified 21,658 acres.
