Novavax, Inc. (NASDAQ: NVAX) shares closed up a modest 2.23 percent on Monday with about 11.2 million shares traded. The stock had one of the biggest volume jumps on the NASDAQ. The stock has rallied almost 250% over the last two years. The company develops recombinant nanoparticle vaccines and adjuvants for an array of infectious diseases, such as influenza, respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, and rabies. At present, the company has seven experimental vaccines and adjuvants undergoing clinical trials, many of which are funded by third parties.

J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE: JCP) shares closed up 5.53 percent on Monday with about 23.5 million shares traded. The stock was one of the most active stocks on the NYSE. Economic data released Monday morning indicated that consumer spending rose 0.5% in November after jumping by 0.4% in October when compared to the previous month. Additionally, consumer income rose 0.2% in November after falling 0.1% in October.

North American Oil & Gas Corp. (OTCBB: NAMG) shares closed down 24.79 percent on Monday and traded a little over 1 million shares. The stock was one of the biggest decliners on the OTCBB and hit a new 52-week low of $0.44 during intra-day trading. The stock had no significant news to share to explain the decline.

OncoSec Medical Incorporated (OTC: ONCS) shares closed up 5.67 percent on Monday with over 6.1 million shares traded. The stock was one of the most active stocks on the OTC market and hit a new 52-week high of $0.50 during intra-day trading. The company had no significant news to share. OncoSec Medical Incorporated, a drug-medical device and therapeutic company, designs, develops, and commercializes medical approaches for the treatment of solid tumors in the United States.
