SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS / ACCESSWIRE / December 19, 2013 / Bio-Solutions Corp. (BISU) today announced that Peggy Freeman Knight would be joining the company as Executive Vice-President of Marketing. Ms. Knight has over 20 years of retail experience with Walmart Stores Inc and Sam’s Club. Her expertise includes operations, marketing, sourcing, product development, vendor relations and financial services. A long-time resident of Rogers, AR, home to the first Walmart which was built in 1962, she is currently the President of a highly successful independent consulting firm which for the past several years -- assists companies in bringing new products into Sam’s and Walmart eco-system and to set them apart from the fierce competition, that all vendors face in the aisles of the nations largest retailer.

"Despite having what we believe is one of that best alternative health beverages available on the market today, as a small company with limited finances, we run an extremely tight ship outsourcing everything we can," stated Bill Gallagher, CEO of Bio-Solutions Corp. "We don’t have layers of EVP’s - and having someone of Ms. Knights caliber on our team, who has the talent to produce the same marketing results and success of a team of twenty - is key to our upcoming product roll-out and future success. After a 21 year career with both Sam’s and Walmart, she now has the liberty to represent only products which she feels has extraordinary potential, and we are both excited and honored that she has chosen to work with us."

Ms. Knight started with Walmart in 1983 as a $3.55 hourly payroll clerk in Cullman, ALA, at Walmart’s first 1 million-square-foot distribution center outside of Bentonville, where she and a handful of others helped staff the facility with over 500 employees. Within a few years she was off to Atlanta, then Dallas in ever rising responsibilities and then eventually to a corporate post in Bentonville, with a career path which mirrored that of Walmart’s. In 1998 she was gained the position as Director of Special Marketing and was named as one of the "Top 100 Marketers" by Advertising Age, for her work launching the Walmart-Chase credit card. Eventually retiring in 2006, she opened a highly successful retail-consulting firm in 2008.

"I am excited to work with Bio-Solutions and to help them in the launch of their wonderful new product," stated Ms. Knight. "It’s a delicious and healthy drink and there is simply no denying that there is a tremendous need in that category. While the markets are overflowing with alternative healthy lo-cal foods, there is something of a void in the healthy beverage category - with leading new product introductions primary coming from sugar and caffeine laden drinks called "Power" this or "Energy" that type beverages, which if they’re not contributing the nations obesity and diabetes epidemic, they certainly aren’t helping. One of the greatest pleasures of being the President of my own company at this stage in my retail career is the ability to work only with companies which I believe have exceptional potential and equally important, which make products which are good for the community at large. Our firm limits itself to the best of the best, and we firmly believe Type2 Defense lies firmly within that category."

BioSolutions Corp has completed and intends to initially air its educational infomercial in the first quarter of 2014 throughout the Internet for on-demand viewing. The goal of all of its initial marketing efforts is to drive traffic to the their Amazon.com partner site and other highly recognizable web based retailers and through the Type2Defense website. Once consumer awareness has risen to sufficient levels to support offline retailers, the company will explore national televised distribution outlets. The initial marketing initiative will focus and offer for purchase a sample $2.00 single packet, and a monthly Subscribe & Save program.

A snippet of the completed infomercial will be released next week.
