Tiger Oil and Energy, Inc. (OTC: TGRO) shares climbed up 7.79 percent on Thursday with about 3.1 million shares traded. The stock was one of the most actively traded stocks in the OTC market. The company announced earlier in the week that it has signed an election to participate in the first of three wells with TOTO Energy LLC in Cowley County Kansas. Tiger will earn a 30% working interest and a 24.45% Net Royalty Interest in the well. Cost of the first well has increased to $630,000 because of the cold weather for drilling and fracking each well with Tiger's cost of 30% to be $189,000 per well.

Violin Memory, Inc. (NYSE: VMEM) shares closed down 16.88 percent on Thursday with about 4.1 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers in the NYSE. Morgan & Morgan announced that class actions have been filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of all purchasers of the common stock of Violin Memory, Inc. common stock pursuant to and/or traceable to the Registration Statement issued in connection with Violin Memory's September 26, 2013 IPO or between September 27, 2013 and November 21, 2013.

GlassesOff Inc. (OTCBB: GLSO) shares closed up 20 percent on Thursday with about 460,000 shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers in the OTCBB market. Earlier this week the company announced the official launch of its innovative iPhone application GlassesOff. The GlassesOff mobile app aims to eliminate the dependency on reading glasses of people over the age of 40 who experience natural age-related changes in their near vision sharpness.

BG Medicine, Inc. (NASDAQ: BGMD) shares closed down 17.73 percent on about 4.1 million shares traded. The stock retraced from earlier gains in the week and was one of the biggest decliners in the NASDAQ. The company announced that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have published the final determination of the 2014 Medicare national limitation amount for the company's galectin-3 blood test at the amount of a crosswalked test whose 2014 national limitation amount is $30.01.
