Petrostar Meets with Vulcan County Municipal Council

Petrostar Petroleum Corporation ("Petrostar" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that on December 4, 2013, the Company presented a rezoning proposal for its Tank Farm development to the municipal council of Vulcan County, Alberta for first reading.

This is the first of three readings that Vulcan County will hold before a final decision on the proposal is made. A public open house was also hosted by Mackenzie Loree, the Company's CEO, on December 2, 2013 to introduce the proposed development to area residents.

Mr. Loree stated, "We are truly appreciative of the administration and council of the County of Vulcan for including our proposal on their recent agenda. Petrostar and its subsidiaries are committed to the development of projects that will bring long term stability and economic benefit to the County and many of its residents. We will continue to work diligently with both areas residents and the municipality to establish a long term and prosperous relationship."
