On October 10, 2013 New Western Energy Corporation (NWTR) announced that it will start opening up two new payzones on existing wells in the Fredonia lease. The wells will be opened up at depths between 600 to 1400 feet to tap known reserves of natural gas.
Production from the Farwell 34-D3 is now double what it was before recompletion in July 2013. The Fredonia Gas Prospect has 9 wells that could be opened up for added production.
