September 18, 2013 - Pacific Landing @ Havenwood Trust is pleased to announce a Vitality Living offering, targeting transitioning Baby Boomers. This offering will invest in a waterfront mixed-use residential resort development, consisting of a 12-acre property on the water's edge, in Victoria's Western Communities. The land is surrounded by a 600-acre National Historic site and is adjacent to Royal Roads University.
The total amount to be raised is CAD $11.6 million, comprised of 11,600 of its trust units at a price of CAD $1,000. Of this offering, management and insiders are participating for 2,000 of the 11,600 units available, leaving 9,600 units for interested investors.
The project is an inter-generational village that will include private residences, a long-term stay hotel, restaurants, a wellness spa, a medical centre, a green grocer and other neighourhood commercial services. Community will be a key component of the village. The Coast Collective Art Centre, an on-site teaching facility, and complementary services will promote a sense of community and define the quality of life in the village. A key market for the village will be the Baby Boomer generation who are transitioning to retirement with a desire for a more active and engaged lifestyle.
