VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - February 28, 2013 - Pacific Potash Corporation (TSX-V: PP; OTCQX: PPOTF; FSE: P9P, "The Company") is pleased to announce that it has engaged the services of Agapito Associates Inc.("Agapito") to provide an opinion on the potash solution mining potential of The Company's Amazonas Potash Property in Brazil. Agapito has worked with Vale, Rio Tinto, Potash One, and Western Potash Corp, garnering over 20 years of experience in developing potash solution mine plans and studies. They have provided solution mining expertise worldwide including the Amazonas Basin in Brazil.
Agapito has visited and prepared reports on the well-known Amazonas Basin deposits of Fazendinha and Arari. These two deposits have a combined historic (non-NI-43-101 compliant) resource of 1.1 billion tonnes KCl. Agapito is also familiar with published results of on-going exploration by other companies in the basin. Company Director Dean Pekeski, P.Geo commented "Agapito's potash solution mining expertise and familiarity with the geology of the Amazonas Basin will be of great value in demonstrating our property's potash solution mining potential. The completion of this letter report will help us continue to advance and plan our exploration program for 2013."
