Niogold Amends Private Placement

Vancouver, BC - February 27, 2013. NioGold Mining Corporation (TSX-V:NOX) ("NioGold" or the "Company") announces that it has amended the terms of its brokered private placement announced on January 30, 2013. The offering will be comprised of up to 8,890,000 flow-through shares ("FT Shares") at a price of $0.45 per FT Share for gross proceeds of up to $4,000,050.

Salman Partners Inc. will act as the lead agent for the offering and will receive a cash commission of 6.5% of the gross proceeds from the sale of the FT Shares.

The offering remains subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. All securities issued pursuant to the private placement will be subject to a four-month hold period under Canadian securities laws. These securities have not been and will not be registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the securities laws of any state, and may not be offered or sold in the United States or to or for the account or benefit of a U.S. person.
